Commscope DLX Mini-MST Fiber Optic Multiport Service Terminal, 4-port, with 1000 feet of locatable/toneable flat loose tube cable, is a compact and hardened connectivity solution for fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) networks. It is designed for outside plant (OSP) environments and facilitates rapid, plug-and-play installation of fiber drop cables to customer premises.

Functionality
The multiport service terminal acts as a fiber distribution point in a telecommunications network. The main 1000-foot cable, which connects to a hub or splice point, feeds a number of individual customer connections.

Terminal ports: The four hardened ports on the terminal provide the access points for individual drop cables that run to the end user’s location.
