The FOSC450-D6-6-36-1-D6V Splice Case is a single-ended, gel-sealed fiber optic splice closure designed for splicing feeder and distribution cables in various environments. This Splice Caseis the largest variant in CommScope’s FOSC 450 series, featuring a dome-to-base clamp system and six large round cable ports.

Description

  • Cable Ports: 6 round ports with compressed gel sealing.
  • Splice Tray: One pre-installed 36-way heat shrink splice tray.
  • Fiber Storage: Includes a D6 standard-sized fiber storage basket.
  • Sealing Technology: Re-usable gel seals that adjust to cable size and shape, requiring no special tools or heat shrink.
  • Environmental Rating: Suitable for aerial, pedestal, buried, and underground use (up to 5 meters waterhead).
  • Dimensions: Approximately 753 mm (29.65 in) in length and 292 mm (11.5 in) in diameter with the clamp.
